Approximately twenty-five thousand households in southeastern Queensland found themselves experiencing outages on Monday morning after intense storm systems passed over the state, generating wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Destruction
Locals witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. Meteorological experts confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.
